Fresh Fodder’s story began in a little Crows Nest deli in the 1970s, where Jim Schofield served his neighbourhood with quiet pride and his son Max grew up surrounded by food and community.

One day, a Greek man Jim had once helped returned to share his family’s taramosalata recipe as a gesture of gratitude. Jim held onto it.

Years later, Max carried that recipe, and its generous spirit forward. Today, everything we make is grounded in the same belief: real ingredients, bold flavour and the simple idea that the best things are always worth sharing.
